Flashback Monday: Secret Theater Style

  Flash back whenever, like a boss. Or a rebel. A rebel boss without a cause. Where are we? Oh right. Flashbacks.
  Last winter I did a secret play with a band of artists in a house! We called it the kitchen play, and ourselves the kitchen players.  The play we were doing was only revealed when audiences took their seats; it was Crimes of the Heart! It was my first time on "stage" in years. I'm so thankful that Marlane Barnes asked me to be in it, and to each and every person who actually attended and lent us their energy and support and really brought the whole thing to life.
  As us Kitchen Players are winding up to start rehearsals for a second secret play, I wanted to take a look back at Crimes. All photos are courtesy of Nick Holmes.
